- You need 1/2 cup of bajra/ pearl millet.
- It's 1/4 cup of raw rice.
- You need 2 tbsp of chana dal.
- Prepare 2 tbsp of toor dal.
- It's 3 of red chilli.
- You need 1 tsp of cumin seeds.
- Prepare 2 of garlic cloves.
- You need 1 inch of ginger.
- It's 3 tbsp of cilantro.
- You need of Salt as required.
- Prepare 1/2 cup of onion, finely chopped.
- You need of oil for frying.
Bajra Vadas | Pearl Millet Fritters instructions
- Wash and soak pearl millet, rice, chana dal, toor dal and red chilli in water for 3 hours..
- Blend the soaked dal, millet and chilli along with cumin, ginger, garlic, cilantro and salt into coarse paste without adding water. Just sprinkle as and when needed..
- Add chopped onion and chopped cilantro.
- Heat oil in a pan and fry the vadas over medium flame..
- Serve them hot with green chutney and hot cup of tea..
